Bio Bay (Vieques)

Bioluminescent Bay On the island of Vieques there is a narrow, shallow bay surrounded by mangroves known as “Mosquito Bay”. This bay is home to a very unique microscopic organism that emits a phosphorescent light when the calm salt water is disturbed.
