Isla Mujeres Beaches

Tropical beaches surround Isla Mujeres. The most visited beaches are located in the north. The beaches begin near the docks as beachgoers travel west. Beaches on Isla Mujeres are public, but the hotels and restaurants own the lounge and beach chairs.

Playa Norte

Playa Norte, also referred to as Nautibeach, Playa Cocos, and North Beach, is easy to access and one of the most visited beaches on Isla Mujeres. Tourists can walk or drive to reach Playa Norte. Since the shoreline curves, tourists must head west to reach the beach.

Beachgoers can rent snorkeling equipment, chairs, and other equipment on this beach. Numerous beachfront bars and restaurants hire servers who will bring food and drinks directly to beachgoers. Tourists can stroll along the beach line beginning at the northwestern portion of the beach to find the perfect location to enjoy the beach.

Playa Lancheros and Playa Indios, Playa Paraiso

This beach is located on the western shore. Beachgoers can enjoy excellent barbequed seafood while local fishers bring fresh seafood from the shore. Numerous snorkeling groups come to the beach to enjoy the excellent food.

Tourists can find souvenir shops, restrooms, umbrellas, beach chairs, and palapa restaurants on the beach. Beach toys, canoes, kayaks, and other equipment are available to be rented here.
