Tortola Beaches

Some of the Caribbean’s most picturesque beaches sit on Tortola. There are numerous beaches on Tortola, but the following are some of the most visited:

Long Bay Beach

Long Bay Beach is a great spot for a sunset beach hike or a peaceful swim. Although the shore is relatively shallow, inexperienced swimmers and kids should be very cautious when swimming here. Long Bay Beach is also a popular spot for picnics, sunbathing, and water sports.

Smuggler's Cove

This beach received its name because of its secluded and hard to reach location. Smuggler’s Cove is located in the furthest western region of Tortola. The waters surrounding this beach are pleasant, crystal clear, and clam, so it is very popular among snorkelers. Since it is difficult to reach this beach, it is usually not crowded. Many tourists come here to enjoy quiet and tranquility.

Brewer's Bay Beach

Many tourists visit Brewer’s Bay Beach to snorkel and swim since the water is very calm. Snorkelers can observe beautiful coral reef, parrot fish, trigger fish, squid, and many other sea animals. A campground is located on Brewer’s Bay Beach.
